Pre Clerk PT

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Pre-Clerk in our Fife, WA Service Center.

About the role

This part-time position involves answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line phone system
• Redirect calls to appropriate contacts
• Perform data entry tasks
• Process driver paperwork
• Assist dispatchers

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Typing speed of 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well-organized
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred: Freight logistics experience

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.76

Schedule

Part-time, Monday - Friday, various shifts
