About the Role
Pre-audits and processes a variety of vouchered or payroll claims against the Judiciary; performs other related duties as required. The Pre-Audit Clerk I level is distinguished by its responsibility for pre-auditing the more routine claims independently and for assisting in the pre-auditing of the more difficult claims under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Pre-audit and process vouchered or payroll claims
- Assist in pre-auditing more complex claims under supervision
- Perform related clerical and administrative duties as required
Requirements
Specialized Experience
Two (2) years of responsible clerical work experience in the preparation and processing of:
- Payroll records
- Vouchers, invoices, or statements
- Related claims transactions
- Account record keeping
- Purchasing activities
Education Substitution
Fifteen (15) semester credits at an accredited college or university, including at least three (3) semester credits in accounting or auditing, may substitute for six (6) months of specialized experience (up to a maximum of two (2) years).
