Pre-Assessment Administrator
About the role
The Princess Grace Hospital is seeking an Administrator to join their Pre-Assessment ward. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0900-1700.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and reception support for the Department, including appointment booking, managing referrals and responding to patient and stakeholder queries.
- Monitor clinician diaries and waiting lists to maximize appointment utilisation and ensure efficient scheduling within the department.
- Maintain accurate patient records and departmental documentation, including scanning records, filing correspondence and managing sensitive information in line with GDPR.
- Liaise with consultants, insurers and third-party providers regarding referrals, guarantees of payment, invoices, quotations and patient account queries.
- Support the wider team with any other admin duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience within a hospital setting is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience using Microsoft Office systems and confidence working with databases or patient management systems.

Pay
Salary: £30,484 per annum + excellent benefits.
Schedule
