Pre-Admit Testing RN
Patient Assessment
Conduct comprehensive pre-operative phone interviews to collect medical histories, medication lists, and identify potential surgical or anesthesia risks.
Pre-Op Education
Teach patients about pre-surgical protocols (such as NPO status, which medications to hold) what to expect during their visit, and basic post-operative care plans.
Collaboration
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologist, and physicians to ensure patients are medical optimized and that all necessary clearances are in the chart.
Verification
Verify surgical consents, medical records and medication reconciliation in the EHR system prior to procedure date.
Total Nursing Care
Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative and post-operative patients.
Treatment Administration
Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
Care Discharge
Cares and discharges pre-operative patients according to facility policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [State]
