- Course: Practice of Law
- Fulfills three major areas of success required to become a successful legal practitioner:
- Legal reasoning and analysis
- Precise legal research and writing
- "Soft" skills of the legal profession such as the ability to gather information from persons and to communicate with persons in the legal arena.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Afford students the opportunity to assess their performance and mentor their success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring
- Teaching Experience Required
- PhD in Government OR Political Science OR Politics OR Philosophy OR JD OR Master’s in above areas
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 9 graduate credits in Government AND substantial teaching experience
