Instruction

  • Course: Practice of Law
  • Fulfills three major areas of success required to become a successful legal practitioner:
    • Legal reasoning and analysis
    • Precise legal research and writing
    • "Soft" skills of the legal profession such as the ability to gather information from persons and to communicate with persons in the legal arena.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Afford students the opportunity to assess their performance and mentor their success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring

  • Teaching Experience Required
  • PhD in Government OR Political Science OR Politics OR Philosophy OR JD OR Master’s in above areas
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 9 graduate credits in Government AND substantial teaching experience
