Practice Manager II, RN
About the Role
Responsible for the supervision and management of physician services across 2 or more practice locations or 9 or more physicians/APPs FTEs. The expectation is that a secondary practice location(s) should be active at least 6 sessions per week. Under general supervision of the Executive Director, Service Line Practices, and the Practice Administrator, this individual directs, coordinates, and integrates practice resources and activities to meet the goals of the service line.
This role understands both the long-range and short-term goals of WakeMed Physician Practices and remains focused on achieving objectives and standards. Works in partnership with physician leader(s) to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, NCBON, CMS, DHHS), enhance operations, and ensure physician participation and integration into practice operations. Aligns with the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed and WakeMed Physician Practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage physician services across multiple practice locations or a large team of physicians/APPs.
- Direct, coordinate, and integrate practice resources and activities to meet service line goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, NCBON, CMS, DHHS).
- Enhance practice operations and ensure physician participation and integration.
- Support the mission, values, and management of WakeMed and WakeMed Physician Practices.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- 3 years of leadership experience required.
