RN Practice Manager

About the Role

Manages resource utilization and communication to achieve organizational goals. Has direct supervisory accountability for all positions, employees, operations, and activities within the assigned patient care area, including coordination of staff training, assigning and reviewing work, and evaluating performance independently or in conjunction with a higher-level supervisor, manager, or director.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of a provider.
• Assists in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Performs day-to-day clerical tasks and related duties.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Provides clinical leadership.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements

• 5 years minimum required experience: 3 years of nursing experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Preferred: 5 years of supervisory experience, clinic supervisory experience.
• Minimum education: BSN or ASN actively pursuing BSN.
• Proficient in EPIC and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to diffuse volatile situations; excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Licensure: RN, BLS.
