About the role
Provides quality management oversight in the areas of access, financial performance, clinical effectiveness and patient, physician, and employee satisfaction in order to ensure successful clinic operations and maximum quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality management oversight in the areas of access, financial performance, clinical effectiveness and patient, physician, and employee satisfaction in order to ensure successful clinic operations and maximum quality patient care.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies.
- Monitors and analyzes financial performance metrics to optimize clinic profitability.
- Manages and improves patient satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to enhance clinical effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Develops and implements strategies to improve patient access and reduce wait times.
- Oversees the billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Manages the accounting and medical software systems to maintain data integrity and security.
- Facilitates communication between departments to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Conducts regular assessments of clinic operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Works closely with the finance department to manage clinic budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensures adherence to HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years health care management experience or advancement in the career ladder from a Practice Manager I after 3 years in the system with last two consecutive evaluations prefer rating is exceeds or above.
- Proven financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of all clinic operations including billing/coding, accounting, and medical software systems.
