Account Manager II

About the role
The Account Manager works with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. This position involves day-to-day client servicing, including verbal, electronic, and written communications. The Account Manager manages the renewal and marketing process, prepares materials for presentations, and collaborates with senior team members. This role requires independent discretion and proactive relationship-building with clients and carrier contacts.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Williamsville, New York office, requiring in-office work at least 3 days a week to foster collaboration, feedback, and team relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts; may take an active role in meetings.
- Prepare and send requests for proposals to insurance carriers and compile results.
- Draft renewal presentations and review proposals and carrier source documents for accuracy in collaboration with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.
- Communicate directly with clients and carriers, with approval from the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.
- Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures; manage client policy records in the agency management system.
- Serve as the first line of response for billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel, with assistance from the Accounting Department when necessary.
Requirements

- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technology.

Qualifications
- High School or GED required; Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and BA/BS preferred.
- Experience in personal lines insurance.
- P&C Insurance License required.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $40,000 – $65,000, determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location. The actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
