Setting Standards, Changing Lives NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools. Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, inspire and engage staff.
• Responsible for daily operations, practice leadership, and setting short-term and long-term goals for the Primary Care practice.
• Manage practice registration; scheduling, visit closing, billing/collection and clinical information processes and systems are functioning effectively and on a timely basis.
• Ensure effective operations in accordance with established NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG) procedures.
• Determine work schedules, including holiday and vacation time.
• Cultivate teamwork with a high level of communication amongst staff.
• Work closely with Directors to implement workflows to improve patient access and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate activities, tools, etc. with other office and hospital departments/practices and service groups, as necessary.
• Maintain practice standards and adhere to quality goals and other performance criteria including budget to actual volumes.
• Preserve a safe environment including office procedures to sustain a high level of patient and staff safety.
• Performs all duties inherent to managerial role.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to NYPMG policies and procedures.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (or Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years’ work experience.
• Preferred: Experienced Practice Manager within a Primary Care setting.

Pay

Salary range: $89,000–$111,500 per year.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40‑hour work week, exempt position, 8 AM – 6 PM; requires travel between the Ossining (30 South Highland Street) and Croton‑on‑Hudson (35 South Riverside Avenue) locations.
