Practice Manager - Dual-Site Experience Required - Western, MA
About the role
As a dual-site Practice Manager in our Western Massachusetts region, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operational efficiency of two clinics while contributing to their long-term strategic goals. Final clinic locations will be determined based on business needs and candidate alignment. Strong candidates will be flexible and willing to travel throughout the region to support various clinics during their first few months, gaining exposure to multiple teams and locations before transitioning into their long-term home base.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily clinic operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Manage and lead scheduling operations to ensure optimal utilization of resources and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to maintain a high standard of patient service.
- Enforce clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as the point of contact for patient feedback, addressing concerns with the Medical Leadership team.
- Place and manage orders for medical supplies, equipment, and other necessary materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate with the finance department to track expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.
- Provide oversight of staffing, scheduling, inventory, and operational workflows across two clinic locations.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics at each site, identifying gaps, trends, or inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
- Maintain a consistent on-site presence at both locations to support, mentor, and develop team members.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and engage clinic staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to enhance staff development.
- Collaborate with the Regional Leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement strategies to enhance the clinic's market presence and community engagement.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation criteria.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Partner with your District Director and corporate resources to ensure effective communication and goal alignment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and growing teams.
- Experience in medical practice management, human resources, and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and enthusiasm to drive results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across the organization.
- Familiarity with medical billing systems, basic medical coding, and medical terminology.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
- Availability to work in clinic Monday through Friday with rotating on-call for weekends and flexibility to support clinic opening and closing.
Qualifications
- Degree in health management, health administration, nursing, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with When to Work, Clockwise, ADP, and Envi (preferred).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $90,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Individual pay is determined based on location, years of relevant experience, current market conditions, and budget considerations. In addition to base compensation, Practice Managers are eligible for an incentive bonus tied to clinic performance, paid quarterly.
