Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of paralegals and technical specialists across multiple offices
- Oversee associate and senior associate staffing, workflow allocation, and utilization
- Analyze performance, utilization, and productivity data to deliver actionable insights
- Partner with senior leadership and practice group leaders to optimize team effectiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across offices, including West Coast counterparts
- Prepare and present clear, strategic reporting (not just raw data) to senior stakeholders
- Support operational and practice management initiatives across the IP function
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal or professional services environments
- At least 3 years of direct people management experience (required)
- Proven experience in staffing, work allocation, and resource management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Experience supporting IP, litigation, or comparable practice areas is preferred (but not essential)
- Confident working in a highly visible, senior-facing role within a complex organization
- Comfortable operating at Manager level long-term within a flat structure
Pay
- Base salary range of $153,000-$192,000
- Lucrative discretionary bonus (typically 15-20%+)
