About the role
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the practice including:
- Ensuring provision of client-centered, non-judgmental SRH services
- Hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation of all non-clinical personnel
- Increase access to our services for people who have the greatest barriers to achieving good health, safety, and economic security
- Overseeing continuous quality improvement activities
- Providing direct care and support for clinical operations
- Ensuring compliance with practice policies and procedures
- Managing laboratory compliance including laboratory controls, proficiency, testing, and equipment calibration and verification requirements
- Overseeing, prioritizing, and delegating staff workload
- Overseeing inventory of medications and supplies
- Running daily financial/visit reports
- Implementing systems to improve service delivery
- Participating in management meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or at least 2 years as a Medical Practice Manager building cohesive and high performing teams.
- A commitment to and passion for Health Imperatives’ mission and values.
- Ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet program needs including some evenings and/or occasional weekends.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated work in a collaborative, team environment.
- Valid driver’s license, registration, and safe driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual;
- Prior medical assistant experience and certificate.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in health care administration, public health or health information management.
- Experience working with eCW electronic medical record system.
