Practice Management Senior Analyst

About the role

The Practice Management Senior Analyst will work closely with the Practice Management team and the Business Analytics team to support in reporting and analytics. Reporting will be done using Excel and VenaAssist, with support from the Senior Manager Financial Analytics. The role will involve maintaining existing reports, supporting the development of new reporting, and assisting with ad hoc data requests and projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing reports using Excel and VenaAssist
• Support the Senior Manager Financial Analytics in compiling report packets and regular weekly and monthly reporting
• Support in testing of newly developed reporting and financial dashboards
• Support the Practice Management team with business unit reporting including utilization and key performance indicators
• Assist the Practice Management team with ad hoc data requests and projects
• Own month end reporting responsibilities in support of the Senior Manager Financial Analytics, Practice Management Team, and Consulting Engagement Team
• Draft written analysis on assigned Group and Business Unit performance in support of the Senior Manager Financial Analytics and Practice Management Team
• Be a point of support/guidance for Financial Analysts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• 2 - 3 years of analytical experience required
• Law firm and Aderant experience a plus
• SQL or Power BI experience a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively with end users, peers and managers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to organize and prioritize multiple projects effectively
• Self-motivated and able to work successfully with minimal supervision

Pay

The base annual pay range for this role is between $75,000-$88,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.
