Practice Assistant II, Radiation Oncology
About the role
Join a compassionate and dedicated Radiation Oncology team where you'll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their cancer care journey. As a Practice Assistant II, you'll serve as a primary scheduler for a physician group, coordinating appointments, managing complex patient needs, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage patient appointments.
- Assist with check-in and check-out duties.
- File patient materials and print appointment schedules.
- Process patient billing forms and handle correspondence.
- Manage and coordinate with various departments.
- Act as an EPIC "Super User" for scheduling, registration, and billing systems.
- Provide assistance and training to others in these areas.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of office experience required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Office Suite.
- Understanding of office operations and procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
