Practice Administrator - Radiology - Queen of the Valley Hospital
About the role
Vituity is seeking a Radiology Practice Administrator to join our team in West Covina, CA. The successful candidate will provide operational support to medical directors, site physician partners, advanced providers, and scribes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, business operations support to medical directors, site physician partners, advanced providers, and scribes.
- Act as the front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, nursing staff, and Vituity support team.
- Support the site medical director and site management team to meet contract expectations.
- Manage site financials, including contract stipends, expense reimbursements, and site payroll timecards.
- Be the super user for all Vituity software applications and act as a point person for hospital software and hardware systems.
- Support providers in criminal or civil disputes, including receiving and routing subpoenas, scheduling depositions, and trial testimony.
- Manage office management tasks such as meeting management, office systems, supplies, site events, and customer service.
- Facilitate patient census and attend daily multi-disciplinary rounds.
- Ensure adequate coverage of clinical schedules to maintain patient care continuity.
- Project manage operational programs including Operations Meetings, Patient Experience Program, Quality/Performance Improvement Program, Advanced Provider and/or Scribe Programs, and Student or Resident rotations.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for new providers and employees, as well as locums and reservists and/or residents and students.
- Maintain compliance with Vituity and hospital programs and requests.
- Act as the point person for all Vituity People Operations (Human Resources) relations.
- Develop and maintain site orientation checklists and manuals.
- Collaborate with Medical Director and Site Management Team in developing and maintaining site practice policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely recredentialing of licensed providers.
- Ensure all aspects of billing and documentation compliance.
- Manage billing and documentation compliance through completion of site WIP/TAD lists, answering provider routine questions, and participating in monthly meetings with Revenue Cycle Management billing team.
- Ensure completion of mandated forms and requests as appropriate.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in an office or healthcare setting.
- Average Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience working in the healthcare field is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Strong consultation skills and the ability to seek out information.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a stressful environment.
- Ability to be self-directed, motivated, and sensitive to deadlines.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $25.39 - $31.74, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
