Practice Administrator (Orthopedics)

This role will support several the orthopedic service line throughout northern Michigan.
The Practice Administrator leads the performance and operations of assigned medical practices, ensuring efficient workflows, strong financial management, and high-quality patient care. This role builds and develops high-performing teams, promotes excellent patient access and customer service, and drives employee engagement. As a key member of leadership, the Practice Administrator contributes to strategy development and execution, using data-driven insights to improve operations, enhance patient experience, and achieve short- and long-term business, financial, and quality goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical practice management, including financial analysis, revenue cycle operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Preferred certification such as MGMA Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or equivalent healthcare leadership credential.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate effectively, and demonstrate strong leadership in staff management, resource utilization, and operational planning.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations, with excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Registered Nurse highly preferred.
