Job Summary/Objective

The Practice Administrator oversees all administrative and business operations for assigned care centers in Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Boca, Weston, and Ft. Lauderdale. They supervise front office and clinical staff, foster a positive patient experience, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership & Culture: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team; cultivate a respectful workplace; facilitate staff meetings.

  • Operational Agility: Oversee workflows and staffing schedules to ensure seamless clinic coverage and patient flow.

  • Financial & Operational Excellence: Manage P&L, accounts receivable, and CPT frequency; translate reports into actionable strategies; analyze and optimize schedules.

  • Compliance & Patient Advocacy: Ensure regulatory compliance and patient confidentiality; represent the practice at meetings.

Candidate Profile

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Management required; Master’s Degree (MHA/MBA) preferred; 7–10 years of progressive management experience in high-volume healthcare environments.

  • Advanced Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with EMR systems and data-driven performance metrics; experience leading teams in a data-rich environment.

  • Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret complex financial statements and manage budgets.

  • Poise Under Pressure: Exceptional organizational skills to handle high-volume clinical demands professionally.

  • Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate staff and physician relationships.

Physical & Environmental Demands

  • Professional medical office environment; ability to remain mobile throughout the clinic; clear verbal and written communication; use of standard office technology.

  • Travel between offices within a care center required.
