About the role
The Practice Administrator oversees day-to-day operations of one or multiple medical clinics, including front office and back-office administration. Working closely with the lead physician, the administrator ensures clinical quality, growth, and financial objectives are met while maintaining excellent patient and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Directly accountable for front office and back-office administration, including hiring, scheduling, reception, billing, and procurement of essential equipment and supplies.
- Reviews and analyzes financial reporting data to identify trends in operating costs and budget variances.
- Partners with the Regional Operations Director to address and implement action plans targeting continuous improvement.
- Accountable for the Profit & Loss performance of each medical clinic within the area of responsibility, alongside the lead physician.
- Monitors and plans budgets and expenses to ensure efficient and cost-effective clinic operations.
- Promotes medical staff compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by monitoring clinic operations and initiating change when needed.
- Implements practices to improve performance across all key performance indicators.
- Ensures the clinic is safe, secure, maintained, and properly sanitized, adhering to highest standards and OSHA protocols.
- Enforces Alpine Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Addresses issues raised by providers, employees, and patients, collaborating with Colorado Physician Partners or Alpine leaders to resolve them.
- Responsible for patient satisfaction and associate engagement results.
- Maintains open lines of communication throughout the organization and promotes visibility within the clinic.
- Actively supports programs and events that build knowledge, skill development, and joy in the workplace.
- Collaborates with Human Resources on recruiting, onboarding, performance management, staffing, and performance improvement.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of all functions within the Colorado Region.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Experience leading cultural change and significant performance improvement efforts within a healthcare environment.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration to foster a healthy work culture.
- Ability to provide high-quality service to patients, customers, and team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
- Computer literacy.

Pay
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000. Eligible for quarterly performance bonus based on individual and/or company performance.
