Practical Nursing Instructor - Full Time - Evening
About the role
The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center has a vacancy for a Full-Time Evening Practical Nursing Instructor at our Health Sciences Campus in Willow Street, PA. The PN Program is a post-secondary curriculum that prepares students for employment in hospitals, extended care facilities and various community settings. The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. Campus: Health Sciences Center, 422 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584.
Responsibilities
- Provide theoretical and hands-on instruction to students in activities, and competencies, designed to promote social, intellectual and employment growth.
- Assist students in gaining the competencies needed to satisfy PA State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Responsible for providing classroom, lab and clinical instruction, assessment, as well as developing and conducting learning programs and associated materials for students with the ultimate goal of producing entry-skilled and employable students.
- Serve on the faculty committee.
Requirements
- BSN required, or in the process of earning a BSN
- RN license in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years related nursing experience
Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred
- 3-5 years clinical experience preferred
Pay
Salary*: RN Only: $65,362 - $67,315; Bachelor's Degree: $73,172 - $76,641; Master's Degree: $83,467 - $86,936** Based on years of experience. Additional compensation for additional credits beyond bachelor's and master's degrees.
Schedule
Weekday evenings - Monday-Thursday. Classroom instructional days 1:50 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Clinical days are 4:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
