PPM Pipefitter (CAT OG) 6.5

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms
• Assist pipefitter with installation of the piping system
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products

Qualifications & Experience

• At least three years Pipefitter experience in Industrial Construction setting

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess sufficient strength and stamina to perform technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises
• Must have visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with working at heights and on uneven surfaces

Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
