PPM Facilities Maintenance Tech (CONT Morganton) FULL TIME REGULAR 6.7
Responsibilities
- Air compressor maintenance and repair
- Basic HVAC maintenance
- Electrical installation
- Basic plumbing systems
- Other general maintenance throughout the Continental Automotive plant
- Warehouse automation maintenance and repair
- Parts washer maintenance
Requirements

Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical matters
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Installation/Repair of PVC piping, clearing drains, repairing leaks
- Repair and maintain air compressors – 8 bar & 200 bar systems
- Ability to work independently
- Complete set of basic hand tools
- Stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
- Perform work at heights
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years facilities maintenance experience
- Air compressor experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics & troubleshoot
- Fire suppression system experience a plus
- Interpret schematics & basic troubleshooting skills – a plus
- Carpentry, concrete work, and/or heavy equipment operator experience
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements
- Able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Able to maintain balance while climbing ladders
- Able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Able to see, perceive depth, and distinguish colors consistently with working at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Wear safety/steel toe shoes
