We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. MOR PPM Inc. seeks a facilities maintenance tech in Morganton, NC. Under direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

A Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform all duties per plant safety guidelines. The key focus of this position is to keep operations running smoothly, perform various preventive maintenance tasks, and carryout special projects deemed as plant goals for the overall plant operation.

• Air compressor maintenance and repair
• Basic HVAC maintenance
• Electrical installation
• Basic plumbing systems
• General maintenance throughout the Continental Automotive plant
• Warehouse automation maintenance and repair
• Parts washer maintenance
• Practice safety conscious behaviors and comply with customer rules, safety procedures, and policies
• Maintain a tobacco‑free facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to use English to communicate accurately and concisely on technical matters (verbal and written)
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Plumbing: installation/repair of PVC piping, clearing drains, repairing leaks
• Electrical: installation/repair of industrial hardware per National Electrical Code
• Repair and maintain air compressors – 8 bar & 200 bar systems
• Ability to work independently
• Possess a complete set of basic hand tools
• Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
