PPA Supervisor for Early Psychosis Intervention- California (EPI-CAL) Program
Job ID: #CA-FT
About the role
This 100% position is for the Project Policy Analyst Supervisor 2 of the Center for Excellence in Coordinated Specialty Care for First Episode Psychosis (EPI-CAL) at the UC Davis Medical Center. EPI-CAL is a collaborative effort across four universities (UC Davis, UC San Francisco, UC San Diego, and Stanford University) that provides training and technical assistance (TTA) and outcomes data collection to support early psychosis (EP) programs across California. The program involves collaborations across the state as well as with other U.S. and international entities, depending on funding source. EPI-CAL teams support programs and counties with the implementation and operation of EPI programs, ensuring they receive specialized training, complete fidelity assessments, collect outcome data, and participate in technical assistance to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services.
The incumbent will act as a PPA Supervisor for the EPI-CAL program, providing support across organizational teams comprised of staff and faculty across the four university sites to support deliverables and, in some instances, directly supervising staff on teams. This role is responsible for independently analyzing and resolving problems, interpreting policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management) and demonstrating solid subject matter knowledge. The position supports communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including multiple departments at UC Davis, other university campuses, over 58 counties and their providers, and state sponsors. The incumbent will receive objectives and goals from EPI-CAL leadership and collaborate on developing processes to achieve those goals, provide direction to EPI-CAL teams and staff in line with project goals and management guidance, and supervise staff assigned to support deliverables (task delegation, documentation and compliance, analysis, and report writing). The position upholds a commitment to inclusivity by bringing cultural humility and a person-centered approach to all work activities and deliverables.
