About the Role
We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist to serve as a Collaborating Physician for our team of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) while also providing direct psychiatric care. This dual role allows for meaningful clinical engagement alongside leadership and oversight responsibilities. Ideal candidates are passionate about team-based mental health care, evidence-based treatment, and supportive collaboration with advanced practice clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and support to up to PMHNPs in accordance with state laws and psychiatric board regulations.
- Participate in initial and ongoing chart reviews, case consultations, and quality assurance activities.
- Support PMHNPs in complex psychiatric evaluations, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements for psychiatric NP supervision.
- Contribute to ongoing clinical education, best practice implementation, and policy development.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.
