Core Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Peer Support Specialists, providing performance monitoring, mentorship, and weekly supervision.
- Act as the frontline clinician for cases flagged by our AI systems or Peer Support team; perform direct outreach and risk assessment as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of AI conversation logs to ensure protocol adherence, clinical nuance, and patient safety.
- Monitor real-time clinical outcomes and escalate significant trends or safety concerns to the Medical Director.
- Use clinical insights from daily reviews to help refine and improve our automated patient pathways and safety guardrails.
Who we need
- Clinical Credentials: Full, unrestricted psychotherapist (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LPC) or Psychologist licensure. 3+ years post-licensure experience preferred but not essential.
- California State Licensure: You MUST be licensed to practise within the state of CA. Additional licenses (including PSYPACT) is a plus.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven track record in supervising or training clinicians or peer support staff.
- Crisis Expertise: Advanced skills in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong interest in AI and the ability to evaluate machine-generated text through a clinical lens.
- You believe in the value AI can have in supporting patients within the US behavioural healthcare system. Previous experience working in AI/Mental Health Tech a plus.
