Power Washing Crew Lead

Responsibilities

  • Lead a two-person crew through a daily schedule of pre-booked jobs.
  • Manage your junior technician on-site, delegate tasks, and ensure each job is completed to standard from setup to cleanup.
  • Greet customers, walk the job with them, make sure they’re satisfied before you leave, and handle add-on requests using pricing guidelines provided by management.
  • Collect payment, take before/after photos, and document completed work.
  • Bring your junior tech up to speed on proper technique, equipment handling, chemical safety, and client interaction.
  • Diagnose and fix equipment issues on the spot to prevent delays.
  • Ensure proper chemical application, thorough rinsing, and protection of landscaping and surfaces.
  • Identify and address potential hazards before starting work.

Qualifications

  • Prior power washing experience is a plus but not required. We’ll train you on technique.
  • Dependability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to interact with customers professionally, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Experience in a hands-on trade (construction, landscaping, painting, detailing) is helpful but not a requirement.
  • You should be patient, clear, and lead by example.
  • If something breaks mid-job, you should be the type who opens it up and figures it out.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be comfortable driving a 16 ft box truck with trailer on residential streets, tight driveways, and backing into job sites.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, able to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on roofs with confidence.
  • Experience operating a boom lift is a plus but not required.
