Responsibilities
- Lead a two-person crew through a daily schedule of pre-booked jobs.
- Manage your junior technician on-site, delegate tasks, and ensure each job is completed to standard from setup to cleanup.
- Greet customers, walk the job with them, make sure they’re satisfied before you leave, and handle add-on requests using pricing guidelines provided by management.
- Collect payment, take before/after photos, and document completed work.
- Bring your junior tech up to speed on proper technique, equipment handling, chemical safety, and client interaction.
- Diagnose and fix equipment issues on the spot to prevent delays.
- Ensure proper chemical application, thorough rinsing, and protection of landscaping and surfaces.
- Identify and address potential hazards before starting work.
Qualifications
- Prior power washing experience is a plus but not required. We’ll train you on technique.
- Dependability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to interact with customers professionally, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Experience in a hands-on trade (construction, landscaping, painting, detailing) is helpful but not a requirement.
- You should be patient, clear, and lead by example.
- If something breaks mid-job, you should be the type who opens it up and figures it out.
- A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be comfortable driving a 16 ft box truck with trailer on residential streets, tight driveways, and backing into job sites.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, able to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on roofs with confidence.
- Experience operating a boom lift is a plus but not required.
