How You’ll Contribute

• Analyze energy and ancillary service markets to develop trading and origination strategies that mitigate price and market risks.
• Record trades in the trade capture system to ensure accuracy and support effective reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making across origination, regulatory, and development activities.
• Mark the daily forward curve to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Monitor market dynamics, including supply, demand, and regulatory impacts to optimize trading strategies and minimize risks.

How You’re Qualified

• Twelve or more years of experience in community, economic development or other relevant experience.
• A degree(s) in economic development, business, political science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Experience analyzing and trading within the ERCOT market.
• Experience adhering to risk management policies and procedures.
• Advanced understanding of energy market dynamics and trading strategies.
