Securities Trader II
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and efficient execution of trades
- Evaluate fixed income securities and their suitability for individual portfolios
- Leverage trading relationships to assist Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors in managing the assets of the firm
- Support Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors by assisting with planning changes to client portfolios based on current needs and/or market conditions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- 1 to 3 years of related securities or fixed income trading experience
- Proficiency with Bloomberg
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong organization skills with a proficiency for attention to detail
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience for Security Trader I
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience for Security Trader II
Skills, Research, And Account Responsibilities
Develop a broad understanding of the trading function with a solid awareness of the types of trades within each security type and the ability to understand financial data.
Maintain a proficient knowledge of the technology utilized for trading and account management.
Participate as a contributing member of the fixed income research and strategy team.
Manage accounts that require singular security types while maintaining an understanding of the account strategy.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $62,300 - $122,400 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
