Securities Trader II

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient execution of trades
• Evaluate fixed income securities and their suitability for individual portfolios
• Leverage trading relationships to assist Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors in managing the assets of the firm
• Support Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors by assisting with planning changes to client portfolios based on current needs and/or market conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
• 1 to 3 years of related securities or fixed income trading experience
• Proficiency with Bloomberg
• Proficiency with Excel
• Strong organization skills with a proficiency for attention to detail

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
• 1 to 3 years of related securities or fixed income trading experience

Skills, Research, And Account Responsibilities

• Develop a broad understanding of the trading function
• Awareness of the types of trades within each security type
• Understand financial data
• Maintain a proficient knowledge of the technology utilized for trading and account management
• Participate as a contributing member of the fixed income research and strategy team
• Manage accounts that require singular security types while maintaining an understanding of the account strategy

• Demonstrate the ability for critical thinking and problem solving
• Multi-tasking ability
• Respond intuitively to resolving trading issues and settlement problems

Pay

Salary Range: $62,300 - $122,400 per year plus bonus.
