Power Platform Developer
About the role
The Power Platform Developer will design, develop, and implement custom Power Platform solutions, write custom code, customize SharePoint sites, and support the installation and configuration of Power Platform instances in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom PowerApps applications
- Integrate apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, and REST APIs
- Create and deploy Power BI dashboards, Power Automate Flows, Cloud flows, desktop flows, or business process flows
- Support installation and configuration of Power Platform instances in cloud environments
- Foster user adoption of Power Platform by demonstrating features and technologies to clients
- Document system processes and procedures in a clear manner
- Discuss requirements with clients and document Power Platform sites, templates, structure, and taxonomy development
- Participate in all facets of the software development lifecycle, including requirements solicitation and documentation, system and acceptance testing, and training
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing custom PowerApps applications
- Experience working with Power Platform environmental data sourcing and management components, including connectors, gateways, and Office 365 integrations
- Experience integrating apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, and REST APIs
- Experience designing and implementing Power BI dashboards, Power Automate Flows, Cloud flows, desktop flows, or business process flows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and PowerApps
- Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
