About the role
The Shift Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility during an assigned shift. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Ensuring all personnel follow policies and procedures and work safely.
- Maintaining the plant within environmental limits and permits.
- Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
- Directing shift, daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
- Approving requests for removing equipment from service and issuing safety permits.
- Troubleshooting plant operational issues and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Training and managing a motivated, skilled, and cross-trained workforce.

Requirements
Qualifications include:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
- ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
- Detailed knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, training, and interpretation skills.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications

Pay
The range for the primary location is $97,481.00 - $134,010.00 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors.
Schedule
Shift Supervisors work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that alternates between days and nights, including weekends, holidays, outage support, and vacation coverage.
