Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform technical and specialized work of a skilled nature in connection with the repair and maintenance of GE MKVI, DCS communication systems, PLC Logic, Rosemount instruments, CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System), computers, annunciator systems, and boiler chemistry monitoring equipment.
• Perform Thermography and NERC Battery inspections and maintenance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and controls, both electrical and mechanical.
• Perform routine operational tests, and inspections.
• Execute safe and effective LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) on all types of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associates degree from Accredited or Technical College.
• 5+ years Power Generation experience preferred.
• Knowledge and skill necessary to perform the installation, inspection, repair, adjustment, calibration and servicing of instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.
• Strong math skills and understanding of fundamental chemistry principles.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from simple prints, sketches, and specifications.
• Analytical skills and the ability to develop solutions to problems.
