Power I&C Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, construct, install, and maintain industrial instrumentation and digital control systems & related infrastructure according to specifications.
• Safely use hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within defined timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly, construction, installation, and maintenance/ troubleshooting of heavy industrial instrumentation and controls equipment.
• Strong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ Experience in Industrial Instrumentation and Controls construction and/ or maintenance within Power Generation Facilities/ preferably combined-cycle plants.
• Knowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and/ or standards.

Project Details

Project: Spring Outage- Combined-Cycle Power Plant
Location: Granbury, TX
Duration: 40+ days (may extend)
Shift: Dayshift
Pay-rate: Based Upon Experience
Overtime: Yes, 1.5 on all O/T hours
Per Diem: Yes, $145/day x 7 days per week
Mob/ Demob: Yes, $400/ each way
Start Date: Thursday 02/22/2025

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Regularly climb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.
• Regularly bend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours.
• Occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions including intense heat/cold, muddy and wet environments.
• Perform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.
