Power & HVAC Road Technician 1
About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 1 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid downtime. Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment in the safest and most effective way.
- Ensure equipment is returned to service promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
- DOT Physical Examination (Medical card).
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Skills
- Understanding of basic refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines, and controllers.
- Familiarity with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.
- Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
- Understanding of compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler).
- Able to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
Physical Demands
- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more.
- Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Pay
Base pay range: $24.05 - $34.56 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
