Power Generation Technician

About the role

NC Power Systems are seeking a Power Generation Technician at our Tukwila WA Branch. This is a key role in our company in which our technicians are responsible for diagnosing and performing all repairs / installations in EPG and Industrial engines including OEM and EPG preps in the shop.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG)
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs
• Perform tear downs and cleanings
• Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)
• Communicate with Engineering, end-users, customers and other team members
• Maintain administrative requirements to complete paperwork (including service reports)

Qualifications & Experience Needed

• Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine
• Must possess your own tools
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license

Pay

Hourly wage from $26.90 to $56.85 per hour.
