Power Generation - Sales Operations Specialist
Role Overview
The Sales Operations Specialist position at Mitsubishi Power is responsible for delivering high-quality proposal responses while maintaining accurate and complete records of the process. This role involves coordinating across functional teams to obtain necessary content that aligns with customer requests, leading the process of maintaining document archives, and providing strategic oversight to ensure efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Develop high-quality commercial proposal documents (electronic and hard copy) ensuring consistency in format, layout, and customer presentation
- Support proposal lifecycle execution by aligning with schedules, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain and standardize proposal templates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with customer requirements
- Review customer requests and adjust proposal content, structure, and documentation accordingly
- Cook internal approvals, major equipment delivery commitments, and cross-departmental contributions for proposals
- Manage and maintain document libraries and archives in compliance with department and ISO requirements
- Provide reporting on proposal status, CRM (bid tracking) accuracy, and sales metrics to leadership
- Support Sales Operations initiatives including pipeline tracking, forecasting, template standardization, and win/loss analysis
- Lead audits, maintain confidentiality, and support continuous improvement and performance metric tracking
- Contribute to team culture, strategy development for proposals, and overall execution success
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline or technical diploma from college or university and 3-5 years direct experience in technical proposal preparation, document control, and archive management
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to develop reports and present to stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret technical, commercial, and procedural information
- Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI & Tableau), SharePoint, and CRM systems (Dynamics or Salesforce)
- Minimal travel (May be required 10-15%)
