Join the A-Team! At Altorfer, we're seeking a talented Union Power Field Service Technician to represent our professional image while providing top-notch service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Effectively troubleshoot and repair Power Systems equipment, complete service reports, PM checklists, and timecards within department guidelines.
- Utilize knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals to efficiently handle service tasks.
- Take ownership of jobs, properly segment tasks, and order parts as needed for seamless project execution.
- Communicate job status effectively to clients and office personnel.
- Conduct complete visual inspections and testing of Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, noting deficiencies as part of preventive maintenance service.
- Perform thorough preventive maintenance and testing on Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair.
- Good decision-making skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Organizational prowess by writing technical reports and using resources for information when needed.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of Office software, preferably MS Word, Excel, and email.
Skills
- Technical expertise in electric power generator maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
