Essential Functions

  • Help customers locate departmental merchandise and educate them on product knowledge.
  • Verify the proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
  • Operate a handheld Telxon and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Remove damaged merchandise from the floor as needed.
  • Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
  • Aid customers with special order requests and sales.
  • Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required in-house training.
  • Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all store employees.
  • Follow all applicable Company, local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
  • Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs (as needed).
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors.
  • Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
  • Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Completes special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.

Minimum Requirements of Training and Experience

  • Minimum Age requirement is 16 years old.
  • Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
