Power Electronics Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation power electronics using SiC and GaN MOSFETs.
- Work on high-frequency bidirectional DC-DC converters, AC-DC grid-tie inverters, and resonant converters.
- Lead development projects from concept to productization.
- Develop innovative digital control algorithms and magnetics.
- Collaborate with PCB layout designers and mechanical designers for high-density power designs.
- Achieve UL & CE compliance for products.
- Lead EMC compliance activities.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and assist team members in achieving project budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
- Experience with SiC and GaN MOSFETs.
- Strong understanding of digital control systems and magnetic design principles.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful project management.
- Experience with high-frequency power conversion technologies.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills
- Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design software.
- Understanding of semiconductor physics and device modeling.
- Experience with high-voltage testing and measurement equipment.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00/yr.
