What You Will Be Doing

The Power BI / Report Specialist is responsible for creation and maintenance of Power BI Reports at Yancey Engineered Solutions; focus on delivering clear, concise information to key stakeholders.

  • Manage and align reporting in accordance with internal / external customer requirements
  • Create and maintain Power BI and D365 reports from existing systems
  • Responsible as the in-house expert and primary contact for internal report creation
  • Leader in identifying emerging tools and software in data management field
  • Identify opportunities and lead team for continuous improvement projects
  • Analyze data, generate reports / presentations to convey large amounts of information
  • Resolve production plan schedule conflicts through cross-functional team alignment
  • Able to communicate with multiple disciplines
  • Familiar with other reporting tools and methods / best practices

Who We Are Looking For

  • Prior experience with Power BI, Microsoft Office Site, D365

  • Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Education/Experience

  • Must have 3 – 5 years industry experience
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred

  • Demonstrated success optimizing manufacturing and work processes and methods, with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Managing complex, voluminous and sometimes contradictory information to find strong solutions
  • Ability to help develop strategic direction for organization, communicate it effectively to key stakeholders, and implement changes needed to achieve the vision
