About the role

Provides direct patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
• Maintains safety-sensitive awareness, working in a constant state of alertness to ensure safe care delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
• Experience: No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualification.
