Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
- Certification in PostgreSQL is required
Qualifications
- Experience administering PostgreSQL databases
- Working experience with PostgreSQL version 16 and higher
- Experience with database and SQL tuning using PostgreSQL
- Assist development teams in optimizing PostgreSQL
- PostgreSQL backup and restore
- Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas
- Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
- Experience in security access control
Skills
- Experience with PGD (preferred)
- Experience with MongoDB (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (nice to have)
- Experience with other databases such as Oracle (nice to have)
- At least 3+ years hands‑on EDB administration including:
- EFM (EDB Postgres Failover Manager)
- Search Path
- EPAS Advanced Database administration
- VACUUM Full or 3rd party tools
- pgbouncer, pgpool
- EFM and streaming replication
- Logical replication
- PEM for monitoring
- MTK for migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
- Backup and recovery tools
