Postdoctoral Scholar in Viral Immunology

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join an interdisciplinary research program focused on viral and parasite immunology.

Responsibilities

• Investigate immune responses to viral and parasitic infection
• Learn about viral infection models during the position
• Focus on mechanisms of host defense and the effect of an individual’s infection history on subsequent exposure

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, or related field
• Evidence of scientific productivity evidenced by at least one first-author publication either in preprint or already published in a peer-reviewed journal
• Experience with viral infection models is required

Qualifications

• An open mind and willingness to learn new skills are preferred

Pay

Funding Source: Institutional funds. Shortlisted scholars will be encouraged to apply for external fellowship and funds.
