Postdoctoral Scholar - Axtell Lab
Position Specifics
The Axtell Lab, in conjunction with the Lasky Lab and the dePamphilis Lab, at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar with expertise in bioinformatics and genomics as applied to plants. The primary responsibility of the Postdoc will be as part of a research team examining the genetics and genomics of local adaptation of the parasitic plant Cuscuta to its hosts in the northeastern United States. The Postdoc will have strong communication skills (written and oral) and commitment to inclusion that will allow them to contribute to and/or lead collaborations across a diverse team of scientists.
Requirements
The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. in bioinformatics and genomics or related fields.
Qualifications

Schedule
This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
