About the role
Under the supervision of Alicia Kinoshita, this position is intended to provide mentored advanced training to enhance professional skills and research independence in the Post Doc's academic discipline.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, management, analysis, and dissemination
- Conduct highly specialized and advanced experiments
- Design research protocols
- Summarize research findings
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Prepare manuscripts
- Attend and present at conferences
Other duties as assigned (5% of role).
Requirements
- A doctoral degree in an appropriate field
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Must reside in California and live within a commutable distance from SDSU at time of hire
