Position Description

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Ardoña lab. This scholar will develop and investigate energy-transporting biomolecular assemblies within cellular or physiologically relevant environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in organic material synthesis and characterization
• Nanostructure elucidation
• Bioelectronic devices
• Cell culture techniques
• Good organization, communication, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting
• Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or other relevant field
