Position Description
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Ardoña lab. This scholar will develop and investigate energy-transporting biomolecular assemblies within cellular or physiologically relevant environments.
Qualifications
- Experience in organic material synthesis and characterization
- Nanostructure elucidation
- Bioelectronic devices
- Cell culture techniques
- Good organization, communication, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting
- Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or other relevant field
