Postdoctoral Researcher in Maternal Health Implementation Science

Position Summary

The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the AMETHIST@Penn project. This NIH-funded position supports the establishment of an implementation science hub focused on maternal health research and career development.

Responsibilities

• Qualitative and quantitative data collection
• Qualitative and mixed methods data analysis
• Drafting of manuscripts
• Management of study logistics including organization, administration, data collection, and oversight of research assistants
• Attendance at twice annual in-person research team meetings and once annual implementation science conference

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with qualitative methods (focus groups, observation, interview)
• Background in implementation science or related field
• Interest in maternal health and health equity

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in implementation science, psychology, sociology, social work, organizational management, nursing, or a related area
• Training or experience in implementation science
