About the role

A postdoctoral position is available at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) to study the cell biology of pancreatic islets and diabetes. The group focuses on beta cell membrane trafficking and its roles in insulin secretion under both normal and diabetic conditions. Utilizing molecular biology/CRISPR, cell biology, live-cell imaging, vEM, multi-omics, and mutant mouse models, the group investigates beta cells and diabetes. Advanced microscopies like confocal, TIRF, SIM, STORM, and STED are readily available.
