About the role
My laboratory at the Department of Pharmacology, Yale University School of Medicine, focuses on studying leukocyte biology and inflammation. We utilize a variety of approaches including biochemical, molecular, cell biological, structural biological, genomic, proteomic, lipidomic, metabolomic, and mouse models.
Responsibilities
- Characterize signaling pathways, particularly Wnt and GPCR-coupled pathways, for their roles in leukocyte functions with emphasis on inflammation, tissue injuries, autoimmune diseases, and tumor immunology.
- Utilize biochemical, molecular, and cell biological techniques to investigate the mechanisms of Wnt signaling and its impact on tumor immunity and inflammation.
- Conduct genomic studies such as CRISPR/Kas9 screening, single cell sequencing, and other omics analyses to understand neutrophil biology and its involvement in inflammatory diseases.
- Develop and analyze mouse models to explore the mechanisms of neutrophil migration and recruitment in tissue injury, inflammation, and cancer contexts.
